Electronic Cigarettes - Give up Smoking Without Giving up!
I’ve always been a non-smoker and anything which helps people give up smoking has to be a good thing right?
Well, I’m not so sure about these new fangled Gamucci electronic cigarettes, which are the latest craze to sweep pubs and clubs across the UK.
They’re simply nicotine inhalers but they’re so realistic with water vapour smoke that you can blow smoke rings with and a convincing glowing tip that when sucked on lights up just like the real thing it’s going to cause a lot of confusion and arguments about where they can be used.
There’s a good chance we’re going to end up being surrounded with people puffing on these at work, in pubs and clubs, on public transport and for no good reason I can think off I don’t want that to happen!
Maybe it’s because it took so long to get cigarettes out of the workplace and public indoor places and maybe I’m just being selfish - I can’t put my finger on exactly what my objection really is.
On the plus side it will definitely help some people give up smoking and it doesn’t look silly like other nicotine inhalers but it’s still a drug dosing device only for sale to over 18’s. It’s an interesting dilemna, thoughts anyone?…
